Straight into the scan— August 17, 2026

The Identify tab no longer asks you to name a container before you can scan. A fresh one is created and named for you (today it would be “Scan Aug 17”). Rename it to anything, or ignore it and go straight to your photos.

It also builds on the last-bin memory from the previous update: add to the same bin scan after scan and that bin stays selected, while fresh-container folks get a new one every session. Either way, the first step is now just your photos.

The Bulk Lot Scanner goes public— August 15, 2026

The Figventory Bulk Lot Scanner Chrome extension is now public on the Chrome Web Store. Open the side panel on any bulk lot listing, scan the photos, and see which parts, figs, and complete builds are hiding in the pile — before you bid.

Collections got cleaner too: unidentified scan crops no longer show up as broken-looking rows — they wait behind a review banner until you're ready for them. And re-scanning a photo Figventory already knows now offers to replace the old results instead of piling up duplicates.

• iPhone fixes — multi-photo uploads from the camera roll work reliably, the gap at the bottom of the screen is gone, and finishing a scan resets the flow cleanly.
• Last bin remembered — adding items now defaults to the container you used last.
• New guide — what set is this LEGO® minifigure from? Plus a cleaner reference layout across all six guides.

Part prices + rebuilt exports— August 13, 2026

The Parts view now has a sortable Price column — every part shows its current Used value, so one tap surfaces your most valuable loose pieces. Unpriced parts show a dash, never a fake $0.

Exports were rebuilt: export any bin, group, or your whole collection as plain CSV, BrickLink My Collection (XML/CSV), a priced BrickLink Store Inventory file (bin codes ride along as remarks), or BrickStore .bsx — and every export now imports back into Figventory perfectly.

Fixes: locked-color items no longer get stranded in the Review bucket, and the "AI response could not be parsed" error during verification is gone.

Bin QR codes, built-fig moves + smarter colors— August 6, 2026

Print QR code labels for any bin or bin group — scan one with your phone and jump straight to that bin, or straight into identification with new parts landing in it. Avery label and thermal-roll templates included, plus blank labels you can assign to bins later.

• Move minifigs between bins — including Built figs, which can now live in your real bins.
• Smoother imports — unusual CSV formats import cleanly, with plain-language errors.
• Smarter colors — Figventory now understands mold families and live-repairs incomplete catalog color data when your scan disagrees. One scan fixes it for everyone.

Set view superpowers + the Wishlist— August 3, 2026

Open any set and every minifig is now graded against your collection — Complete, Buildable from your loose parts, Partial, or Missing — with a progress bar and a per-fig breakdown that shows exactly which bin each copy lives in.

And say hello to the Wishlist, a new view on the Build tab: add missing figs from any set or straight from search, watch the coverage bar fill as your parts come in, and build the moment it hits 100%. Open to every tier.
